EFFICIENT HOUSE CLEARANCES FROM A COMPANY WITH A GREAT REPUTATION
THE COMPLETE SERVICE:
Do you need to have your house cleared? If you’re in or around County Durham, you can trust 123 Clearance to do a good job. We offer professional house clearances, as well as offering other associated services.
In addition to clearing your property, we also provide a cleaning service. We will make sure that your property is ready for the next tenant. For your kitchens and bathrooms, we offer a steam cleaning service. We also offer a deep cleaning service. For a 2-bedroom house, the average cost for this service is £75.
FREE HOUSE CLEARANCES
Under some circumstances, we can offer a free clearance, but please don’t let it put you off if you do not qualify. Our clearances are not as expensive as you may think, and we can still offset items of value taking the total costs down for you.
An example of a free clearance includes if your contents can cover all our costs for the clearance. We can then do it for free. Please see below to give you an idea of costs etc.
The cost of a clearance obviously can be very different from property to property, (for example – a 2 bed bungalow to a 5 bed house) and all this is taken into consideration. Our biggest costs are tipping costs so the more we can salvage, sell or donate the better for both sides as less goes into landfill, meaning lower costs for you.
We know the market, and we have a very good idea of what sells and what doesn’t. This is how we get our final figures when pricing. We also only use private or online auctions and sometimes our own selling platform online to sell items, so please bear in mind that 40% goes straight to fees before we get our profit.
We don’t suggest you personally use an auction house or charity for your clearance, as auction houses will charge you 20% commission and 20% VAT. On top of this they charge an average of £45 per hour for collection, and charge you listing/lot fees, and some even charge if items don’t sell.
Charities
We all want to help charities but remember they only want the best items, so any charity that offers house clearance needs to make sure they take everything you need. Otherwise you can get left with a rubbish removal and end up out of pocket. We take every single item that you require removing; even carpets, and we can also purchase all offset items. We work with many charities.
